Controller

Our client is a well-established and profitable, service based company. They pride themselves with placing great value on their employees and consider work/life balance a high priority. The need has arisen for a motivated CPA to assume the position of Controller and report directly to the company’s Owner and founder.  Our client is interested in a person that can oversee the activities of a small accounting staff and be able to “see the big picture” when it comes to the company’s accounting issues. You will assist the Owner with cash flow and budgeting issues. You will be responsible for the preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements. You will ensure the company is onside with respect to all regulatory issues and liaise where necessary with lawyers, auditors and other outside professional service providers. You will ensure all reconciliations are done on a timely and accurate basis and ensure your staff is handling the A/P and A/R functions properly. In short, you’ll be an integral part of the management team.
