Our client has an excellent, newly created, position available for a designated CPA to assume an Assistant Controller position and work in their small office. Please note that this position is extremely hands-on and there will not be any staff below you. You will handle financial statement preparation, monitoring receivables and rents, taking care of disbursements, preparing spreadsheets and reports, dealing with the various regulatory authorities, reviewing information sent by representatives of their ownership interests (companies, joint venture, rental properties etc.), tax return preparation etc. This is a position that would suit a CPA working in industry or the private enterprise/small business area of a public practice firm.
