Accounting Supervisor

Our client is a located downtown and has a successful and growing service based business that is extremely successful. A newly created position has arisen because of their growth. An Accounting Supervisor is required to work in their firm and report directly to the management team. You will have 2 staff that will report to you but you will be required to be quite hands-on. You will be responsible for the financial statements of the organization which will include various reports to be used by operations personnel. You will assist with monitoring cash flow and working with various departments regarding pro forma budgeting. There will be some financial analysis and working with the management team on financial strategy to facilitate improved decision making. You, in conjunction with your staff, will oversee all areas of the finance function including payroll, bank reconciliations, month end journal entries, G/L reconciliations, variance analysis, fixed assets, billings, A/P and A/R. You will also be responsible with dealing with the auditors and outside regulatory Agencies when necessary.
