Our client is North America’s largest public company of its premium products. Their corporate head office is located in Burnaby and they have many branch locations throughout North America. Our client requires an experienced CPA to function as a Corporate Controller, reporting directly to the CFO. You will play an important role in ensuring management has the financial reports and analysis to support day to day and strategic decision making. You, in conjunction with your staff, will be responsible for preparing quarterly and annual financial statements to ensure that all financial reports and analysis accurately reflect the business and its financial needs. Specific duties include preparing the annual department plan, management of staff, supporting management regarding accounting, financial reporting & analysis and the budgeting processes, financial metrics, forecasts, some treasury duties, assisting with merger and acquisition activity, tax planning, liaison with the external auditors, legal counsel, government officials etc. This organization offers a competitive remuneration package and believes in work/life balance.
