Director of Finance

Our client is an established, service based company. They have parlayed their business into a company with tens of millions in revenue, several hundred staff and impressive profitability. The need has arisen for a motivated CPA to assume an exciting Director of Finance position. Please note that our client is very interested in moving you to CFO when you’re ready. The successful candidate will support the owners in defining the corporate finance strategy in line with the Company’s overall strategy and mission. In doing so, you will be a key service provider and partner to the business. You will supervise a stable and motivated team to ensure that the accounting records are prepared and maintained in accordance with the company’s accounting policies. You will prepare monthly and annual consolidation financial statements, ensure internal controls are in place, oversee the preparation of annual budgets and business plans and assist with financial forecasts. You will liaise with the company’s bankers, coordinate the annual audit, monitor cash flow, prepare project budgets, oversee regulatory filings and maintain effective working relations with outside parties. You must be an effective supervisor as you will have an accounting department to oversee and mentor.
