Financial Analyst

Our client is a company and a division of a highly successful international manufacturing company. Due to the success of the company and continued expansion, a newly created position has arisen for a designated CPA to function as a Financial Analyst. The successful candidate will report directly to the Controller and will work closely with the operations management team. The key responsibilities of this role will be to work with the management team to assist them with their financial needs, acting very much as an “analyst” vs. a “day to day accountant”. The management team will require this person to have the ability to communicate effectively with operations personnel relating to all financial matters. Specific duties will include assisting the Controller with cost accounting reports, product costing, reviewing monthly profitability reports, examining working margins and examining variance and estimated margins, reviewing standard cost updates, reviewing labor analysis (planned to actual), assisting with month end closing procedures, monthly forecasting ( ie – preparing 3 month rolling forecasts), WIP reconciliations, reviewing missing material reports and special projects as provided by the Controller. The successful candidate will have proven manufacturing experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills and will be a detail oriented individual that enjoys working in a fast paced, team environment.
