Chief Accountant

Our client is a small to medium sized manufacturing/distribution company with its head office located in the heart of the lower mainland. They are well established and have proven products that have been extremely successful in the Canadian market place. Our client is growing and has the need for an entrepreneurial thinking CPA to assume the position of Chief Accountant. The successful candidate will be required to be hands on with respect to handling and overseeing the accounting for the company but also be a person that can be an integral part of the management team. Although you would be doing a lot of hands on accounting, you would also be assisting the Owner with running the business. You would probably spend 40% of your time on the accounting and 60% on budgeting, managing staff, overseeing the computer systems and running the business.
