Controller

Our client is a very successful and growing hi-tech company with its head office located in downtown Vancouver. This company is well funded and operate principally in Canada. An excellent position has arisen for a Financial Controller to report directly to the CFO and the management team. The successful candidate will be a self starter, comfortable as a team player, with experience supervising/managing staff. You should have a deep understanding of PC-based accounting packages, including project accounting. You should have proven financial reporting experience (internal and external) in a regulatory –reporting environment and be skilled at managing month-end closing procedures and systems. You will be involved with the regulatory reporting including MD&A preparation and note preparation. This position may also be appropriate for a person working in public practice that is interested in a position in industry.
