Chief Accountant

Our client is extremely well established and has been providing a valuable niche service to their customers for many decades. They have 3 branches and are expanding. They have an opening for a motivated CPA to function in a “Chief Accountant” capacity and report directly to the Owners. You will be involved in a hands-on capacity in their company but also be expected to “see the big picture”. You will supervise the activities of a couple of junior staff and act as a key financial resource to one of the Owners that oversees the financial functions of the company. You will be involved in full charge accounting and, for example, will handle financial statement preparation, get involved with a variety of account reconciliations, analysis of prepaids, regulatory filings, inventory review and ensuring that the accounting is done on a timely and accurate basis.
