Controller

Our client is a publicly traded company in the hi-tech field. An excellent position is available for a motivated CPA to function as the Controller. This position reports directly to the CFO and supervises a small corporate office team. The successful candidate will provide leadership and hands-on support in a wide variety of financial services and activities, including internal and external financial reporting and coordinating year-end audits. The incumbent will be able to plan and direct accounting activities and provide timely financial information. Specifically, you will prepare quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, coordinate year-end audits and other reviews, oversee cash flow and treasury management,  statutory and tax filing documentation, prepare budgets and monthly management reports, implement and monitor internal controls and mange a team of accounting staff. You should have previous public company financial reporting experience, demonstrated leadership skills, possess a high level of technical competence and have excellent communication skills.
