Accounting Manager

Our client is a very well established and high profile company that has been servicing the lower mainland for several decades. The need has arisen for a motivated CPA to report directly to the company’s CEO and function in an exciting Accounting Manager position. Please note that this position is somewhat hands-on but will require you to “see the big picture” and be an integral part of the management team.  You will supervise and mentor a small accounting team, ensuring all the company’s financial and internal processes and controls are effective, that financial records are accurate, complete and prepared on a timely basis. You and your staff will be responsible for all accounting and financial reporting including A/P, A/R, inventory control, payroll and all aspects of their accounting. You will prepare financial statements and other financial reports that assist operations personnel in their day to day duties.   You will assist the CEO in managing working capital requirements. You will also assist in  leading the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly re-forecasts and coordinate with their external accountant.  Please note that our client offers an attractive compensation package including bonus.
