Our client is a high profile organization. A motivated CPA is required to function as a Director, Finance & Administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the accounting and office administration requirements for the organization. This includes managing a small team of accounting and administrative staff. You will develop, manage and monitor all aspects of the organization’s accounting and administration systems including the fiscal plan, quarterly and annual financial statements, reporting and annual audit, operating budgets, payroll & benefits, cash flow, investment funds, cost accounting and contract management. You will monitor your staff to ensure that accounts payable, receivables, payroll, benefits and other financial and payroll procedures and transactions are processed in a timely manner and are balanced & reconciled. You will manage, coordinate and ensure efficient administration of office operations such as office leasing, security, furniture, equipment leasing and maintenance, information/computer systems etc. You will implement and monitor financial, purchasing, administration, HR and payroll/timekeeping policies and procedures. You will research and produce financial reports/projections/models for the organization, the CEO and the Board, including monitoring and addressing variances from budget. . You will supervise junior staff, including accounting and admin/customer service staff.
