Accounting Manager

Our client is a small boutique professional services firm. The firm is owned by a seasoned and high profile  executive that has functioned in Vancouver for several decades. An excellent position exists for a motivated CPA to assume a key accounting role.  Please note that our client is also very interested in candidates working in public practice that are looking for their first position in industry. Training will be provided. Responsibilities include oversight and management of financial systems and budgets for numerous investments and operating companies; analyzing cash positions, cash flow and other funds available to fund acquisitions, capital expenditures and growth; review of monthly reconciliations; oversight of A/P and A/R; preparation of financial statements; identification and rectification of accounting and operational efficiencies; liaising with external consultants etc. Candidates should have strong people skills, with the proven ability to build relationships at all levels, a willingness to roll up your sleeves and strong communication skills.
