Financial Analyst

Our client is a highly successful and well respected organization with it’s head office located in Burnaby. Our client has a need for a motivated senior financial analyst who will work with and report to senior financial personnel throughout the company. You will work with financial forecasting and modelling including maintaining, updating and refining the Company’s daily, weekly and monthly cash forecast models to provide the senior management with up-to-date and relevant financial information to drive future financial decisions. This will also include creating or updating financial models used for financial analysis. Budgeting will also be a part of your position as you will work with internal resources at head-office to support the annual budgeting process and maintain the forecasting processes. You will also assist in the performance of variance analysis of financial results and provide detailed reporting on financial results by analyzing variances. You will assist in examining the company’s internal controls and make suggestions for improvement. Liaising with the external auditors will also encompass your responsibilities. You will also get involved in a variety of interesting financial projects. You should have your CPA and strong Excel skills. This position also requires strong verbal and written communication skills and an excellent attention to detail.
